Located just over the Devon border into Cornwall, outside the picturesque historical mining hamlet of Luckett we are in the beautiful Tamar Valley an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) that stretches from Bodmin Moor to Dartmoor.
At the base of Kit Hill, almost midway between Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor, close to the river Tamar we are approximately 5 miles from the small town of Callington, 8 miles from the market town of Tavistock and approximately 10 miles from the historical towns of Liskeard and Launceston. We are situated approximately 20 miles from the seaside town of Looe and its neighbouring quaint unspoilt fishing village of Polperro. Approximately 20 miles from the popular beaches of Seaton and Whitsand Bay and approximately 20 miles from Britains ocean city of Plymouth we are well situated to explore all aspects.
With numerous walks from the door either through a permissive path down to Deer Park and Sheba Woods or along the river in Luckett Wood Nature Reserve which is situated within Greenscombe Wood all bursting with all the natural beauties you would expect including plants, animals and outstanding views and is home to one of the UKs rarest protected butterflies, the Heath Fritillary Butterfly.
